A trillium reasons why we love Summer Lovin’: The coffee comes from the Abakundakawa Cooperative in Rwanda, which fuels women and community; cool art from Montana artist Libba Lauchnor; notes of blackberry, apricot, and nougat make this a seriously tasty coffee for summer.
The trillium plant symbolizes consciousness, embodiment and mutuality. All things considered, it seems like a great choice for our 2020 Summer Lovin’ coffee label. This beautiful piece was painted by Libba Lauchnor who specializes in Western and wildlife art. She uses many mediums, from etched glass to charcoal to the watercolor featured on our Summer Lovin’ coffee can. Libba lives and works in the Bitterroot Valley, where she raises two children along with horses, cows, and chickens. She paints the simple beauty she witnesses.
