About The Artist

Gianna lives on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington and paints the mood, light and feel of the outdoors from memory. She began painting full time seven years ago after a mountain biking accident left her unable to ride. She found a way to stay connected to the places she loved through her art.

"Summer is here and it's time to soak up the sun. My favorite thing to do this time of year is hit the coast and hop in the ocean–that's where the inspiration for my art comes from. This summer I am starting my day with a cup of Summer Lovin and a full day outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. Then in the evening, I'll head back to the studio to recreate the best memories." - Gianna
