Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Back of House Team Member to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards. Duties
- Assist in meal preparation and food service, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Handle food items safely and efficiently, following all food safety regulations.
- Utilize kitchen equipment, including knives and various cooking tools, with care and precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with dietary aide roles or culinary practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling techniques and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong knife skills and experience with various cooking methods will be beneficial.
- A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

- Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
