The Café Vision

The Café Vision
Great cafés come in many sizes, styles and shapes, but what they all do is create a place for people to gather and experience a good drink and a bite to eat in a nice environment.

When we saw the development happening at the site that would become the Atlas Waterfront Development, we knew it would be an unreal place for a great café. The Centennial Trail (a favorite feature of our town) and the Spokane river just right outside your door? Come on. We envisioned a place that would be warm and bright in the cold, gray months. Cool and light during the hotter seasons. Vibrant, full of life, art, sounds, textures and tastes.

The café is a place to experience the variety of coffees that we roast. Crowd-pleasing blends and unique, small-batch offerings prepared on brew methods we think bring the most out of each coffee. It’s a place to meet up with friends or a stopping point for an espresso and croissant on your century ride.

We’ve put together a small but incredible food menu with goods sourced from some of our favorite bakers and chefs to prepare dishes that will complement our coffee offerings. Back Pocket Bakery, Boots Bakery, Locos, Mimi and Frankie’s Kitchen . . . they’re all amazing culinary teams and the result is a lineup of great tasting food.

Why did we do it? Because amazing food and drink, served in a nice setting, prepared by people who enjoy making great experiences for their guests is good. It’s an opportunity for us to contribute to our neighborhood being a rad place. That’s what the DOMA café is all about. That’s the why.
