Deep water, deep thinking, deep change. The goal of this coffee is to create common ground to talk about human impact on the environment. We’ve spent time with coffee farmers who are directly affected by climate change. They were eager to ask us what we were doing to help curb the climate crisis. This coffee is one of those things. With direct donation from sales of this coffee, DOMA supports the work of the Protect Our Winters (POW) organization as they advocate for climate education and policy change. Helping people and the planet has never tasted so good.

$1 for every 12oz bag and $1 for every pound of DEEP sold.

Since 2017, we have worked with K-finos in Guatemala to source this organic coffee. Each year we travel to origin and cup the fresh crop and select our coffee that fits the profile for DEEP.

How To Brew

We use a 1:16 Coffee Brew Ratio, which means for every 1 part of coffee there are 16 parts water. Having a grinder that produces a consistent grind size is pivotal for great coffee, so be sure to use a conical or flat set of burrs. Grinding fresh for each batch of coffee will produce the best tasting results.

This is an amazing coffee. Deep, is my personal favorite. Have had it on auto ship for over 2 years now.

They sent me stale coffee, my previous orders always seemed to be about a week off roast but this last bag was a month or more. I don't know if something changed or if I had been lucky. The flavors that make specialty coffee special disappear quickly, definitely way before the months out best by date. With espresso fresh is also important as the CO2 content is what gives cremma and plays a big part in extraction. This has been my go-to and I've used over 7 lbs but $21 for a disappointing bag of coffee I know could and should be so much better when I have local roasters that sell fresh roasted for $15 a bag that is more consistent and I enjoy more than stale DEEP, I just can't order anymore.
